Product Overview

The disc centrifuge achieves separation based on the principle that materials of different specific gravities are subjected to different centrifugal forces inside the high-speed rotating bowl. Its advanced automatic control system gives it outstanding comprehensive advantages over conventional separation equipment.

The DHC automatic slag discharge model is available in two configurations: solid-liquid two-phase separation type and liquid-liquid-solid three-phase separation type. With all-stainless steel product-contact structure and precision-balanced rotating assembly, it delivers stable separation performance, reliable operation and good sanitary performance, and is widely used for clarification, purification and separation processes in various industrial fields.

Working Principle

Driven by the motor, the bowl assembly rotates at high speed around the main shaft. Feed liquid flows into the bottom of the bowl through the central feed pipe from the upper part, and is evenly distributed toward the bowl wall through the diversion channels under the disc stack.

Under the strong centrifugal force field generated by high-speed rotation, solid particles with higher specific gravity settle rapidly on the inner wall of the bowl to form a sediment layer. Light liquid flows along the outer conical surface of the disc stack toward the central axis, rises to the upper chamber and is discharged through the light liquid outlet by the light liquid centripetal pump. Heavy liquid flows along the inner conical surface of the disc stack toward the bowl wall, then flows upward and is discharged through the heavy liquid outlet by the heavy liquid centripetal pump, thus completing precise separation of heavy liquid, light liquid and solid phase.

The automatic slag discharge mechanism can periodically discharge accumulated sediment without stopping the machine, realizing long-term continuous and unattended production operation.
